Lyndon Mendoza > "GO"ing Home

GO trains are easily identifiable; all rolling stock is green and white, and the carriages are double-decked and shaped like elongated octagons. These Bombardier BiLevel carriages were originally designed for GO Transit in the 1970s. GO Trains generally operate in a push-pull configuration.

I was just about to pack up my camera when a GO Train appeared heading westbound. I got lucky. :)

Lyndon Mendoza > St. James Cathedral, Toronto, Canada

York's first church was built here in 1803. The frame of the building was enlarged in 1818-19 and replaced by a larger on in 1831. The second church was burnt in 1839. Toronto's first cathedral was then erected on this site but was destroyed in the great fire of 1849. The present cathedral was begun in 1850 and completed in 1874.
